ADJUSTABLE INBOARD TELE-SHOCKS
 
A 1/4" STEEL PLATE IS WELDED TO THE LEVER ARM TO TAKE ONE END OF THE SHOCK AND THE OTHER END IS HELD BETWEEN A PAIR OF 1/8" PLATES BOLTED EITHER SIDE OF THE SMALL CROSS MEMBER. THE PLATE NEEDS TO BE 9Odegs TO THE CENTRE LINE OF THE SHOCK WITH CAR AT NORMAL RIDE HEIGHT.
 
 



ADJUSTABLE SPRING HEIGHT
 
 CUT OFF THE BOLTING EARS FROM THE LOWER SPRING SEAT. IF YOU CAN THEN PUT IT UP IN A LATHE AND TURN DOWN THE OUTSIDE, THIS WOULD BE EASY, OTHERWISE GRIND/ FILE THE EDGES TO A DIA OF 4.125" OR LESS. THIS PART COULD BE A TURNED DOWN TOPHAT SECTION FROM SOLID THUS INCORPORATING THE CAP/LOCATOR.

 NOW MAKE A STEEL/ALLY WHATEVER CAP TO FIT SNUGLY INSIDE THE SPRING SEAT WITH A RECESS IN THE BOTTOM TO LOCATE THE ADJUSTER. A NUMBER OF THESE COULD BE MADE WITH HEIGHTS DIFFERING BY 0.75" TO ALLOW BIG SUSPENSION CHANGES WITHOUT HAVING LONG ADJUSTERS.
 

 OK NOW DRILL A PLATE TO FIT WHERE THE SPRING SEAT WAS AND DRILL/TAP A HOLE FOR YOU ADJUSTER. YOU CAN SCULPT THIS TO SAVE WEIGHT EVEN USE AN ORIGINAL PERHAPS WITH THE TOP CUT OFF PLATED AND NUT WELDED ON TOP.

 FINALLY THE ADJUSTER - THIS COULD BE TUBING, A CUT UP BODY OF AN ADJUSTABLE TELE OR EVEN A BOLT, IT SHOULD BE OVER 1" DIA WITH A FINE-ISH THREAD TO ALLOW FINE ADJUSTMENT. IF YOU ARE USING A BOLT DON'T FORGET YOU CAN DRILL IT OUT AND MAKE IT HOLLOW.
 

 DON'T FORGET YOU NEED TO BE ABLE TO ADJUST THIS SO YOU NEED SOME WAY OF TURNING IT. THIS COULD BE A PIN BRAZED INSIDE THE ADJUSTER OR A SLOT ACROSS THE BOTTOM OR WHATEVER?
 
 AND FINALLY YOU NEED A LOCK NUT!
 



 
LOWERING
 
THIS CAN BE DONE SIMPLY AND CHEAPLY WITH LONGER SPRING SEAT BOLTS AND SPACERS OR EVEN WASHER PUT ON THE BOLTS BETWEEN THE WISHBONE AND SPRING SEAT.

ANTI-ROLL BAR MOUNTINGS

ANTI-ROLL BAR'S CAN BE MOUNTED OVER THE TOP OF THE CHASSIS BY CUTTING OUT THE BOTTOM OF THE RADIATOR MOUNTINGS FORWARD FLANGES AND BOLTING MOUNTING BLOCKS TO THE UPRIGHTS. TURN THE ANTIROLL BAR OVER (SIDE TO SIDE) THE LINKS THEN DROP DOWN AND BOLT TO WISHBONES THROUGH AN ENLARGED ORIGINAL MIDDLE MOUNTING HOLE AND USING THE ORIGINAL PLATE ON THE INSIDE OF THE WISHBONE TO SPREAD THE LOAD OR JUST LEAVE IT THERE . THE ORIGINAL TRIANGULAR PLATE CAN BE TRIMMED DOWN TO SAVE WEIGHT.
